60p, a murder in Yoyogi Park, Jiyugaoka and more... #7Days7Minutes (2016-02-08)

#7Days7Minutes is all I have time for these days, and sadly I'm not going anywhere, or doing anything all that interesting either.

Yet things are still behind here because of work.

I'm wading through a crap project which is the culmination of a long line of crappy deals, but unlike all the others, there is an actual paycheque (albeit a tiny one), rather than the mere promise 'exposure', so like a victim of domestic abuse, I keep crawling back for more punishment, and this channel and my physical/mental health suffers for it.

But I grind on, and while they are late, I'll keep pumping out some sort of content here and on instagram (https://www.instagram.com/darcnoodles/), till I eventually have that aneurysm.

Custom Cup Noodle ✕ The DOOK | Random Japan

The Cat went to the Cup Noodle museum in Yokohama and made me custom meaty curry cup and festooned the front with a portrait of the legendary DOOK!

The four of us were all working at the same part-time gig and we are all big fans of the bowl so it was only natural that we dined out at one of the local establishments on our lunch break.

One Day back home.

I had a freelance job that sent me to Gunma. It gave me the chance to recharge my mind and give me a much needed boost to get through my new life in the capital cesspool. I stayed the night with Yoshitatsu and managed to meet up with Tatsuya and Tsubasa. Talking cars and shooting the shit till 2am in the freezing cold brought back so many good times!

Ramen is a part of life here in Japan and it is safe to say that if you are here, you will eat a fair amount of it. The quality ranges from cheap and cheerful to mind-blowingly delicious. at the top of the mind-blowingly delicious pile is a place that I have discovered pretty close to home…

Summer Fun ~ RAMEN!

Got to Hang out with Yoshitatsu and Yuki tonight. Its been too long. Turns out he has a new job and he is earning a good deal more which is great for him. He also has a sponsor for next year and a landed himself a guest driver spot at a drift event in Australia!!! Things are looking up for him indeed.

Anyways... we ate ramen at a place in Kiryu. HOLY SHIT IT WAS GOOD!!!!! I bookmarked the location on me iPhone so I can go back!

Actually I have technology… and Sharing IS caring… :p
